Family

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic trip home to MT for Christmas! We went for a whole week and had such a great time!
While we were there we enjoyed sledding and playing in the snow! The kids hung out with their cousins and enjoyed having a sleepover. My younger brother who has recently regained his faith and testimony of the gospel received the Melchizedek Priesthood. I was honored to stand in the circle of elders as this ordination was performed by my father. I am grateful to finally have a brother who is a worthy member of the church!

I recently attended an institute class during which the instructor shared that statistics show that the LDS faith is the only christian faith in which, as it's members become more educated, they also become more faithful and convinced of the truthfulness of the gospel! Surprising?!
Not really!
As a scientist (outside of utah) I continually find myself in the distinct minority when it comes to personal and religious beliefs. But I continually, also, find every belief that I hold dear upheld time and again by scientific research and findings!
